Q: How is your service different from standard file sharing?

A: This is an image encryption service. All images are stored on the server in encrypted form. Only the person who have the key has access to the image.

 
 

Q: Can I upload multiple images?

A: You can only upload one image at a time. The number of uploadable images for one user is unlimited. Later versions will support uploading multiple images.

 
 

Q: Can someone else view my encrypted images?

A: Even if hackers gain access to encrypted images, they will not be able to use it. The file is encrypting on your computer / smartphone and transmitting in encrypted form to the server. The key defines the encryption method.

 
 

Q: If I forgot (lost) my key for the image, can the administration recover it for me?

A: No, the administration doesn't store your keys

 
 

Q: If I lost my link to the encrypted image (forgot the cell ID), can the administration recover it for me?

A: No, the administration doesn't store your cell IDs

 
 

Q: How to take a photo and immediately encrypt it in the cloud without saving it to your smartphone?

A: You can do it from your smartphone.

  1. Visit the service site www.panlocker.com in your phone browser;
  2. Click "Select File";
  3. From the "Select Action" menu, select "Camera" or another photo-making application;
  4. Take a photo;
  5. At the service site in the browser in the field "Key" create a key and write it down. Be sure to remember it!;
  6. Click "Upload";
  7. Well done! You got the link to the encrypted file!

 
 

Q: Who except me can see encrypted images?

A: No one. Except for the persons to whom you gave the key to this encrypted image.

 
 

Q: Can anyone extract from encrypted images through metadata exploration, geolocation and other private information?

A: No. Our service makes your images completely anonymous.
